In 1991, the universal backlot in Los Angeles echoed with the voices of young actors. Singin' and dancin' for Kenny Ortega, Peggy Holmes, and other people in the movie industry. On every street you saw 'em rehearsin' dance steps. Makin' a movie that would define a generation. Child stars and newcomers, the boys were a close group who had lots of fun, until one day, the made they're own movie.

Blood Drips Heavily on Newsies Square is a spoof of Newsies, made by the boys of the cast. It's about a bad actor, Don Knotts (played by Mark David/Specs) who when he doesn't get a role in Newsies goes on a killing spree of every Newsie claiming "If I can't be in this movie nobody will!"
So, Don begins his killing spree getting rid of the Newsies one by one, each in they're own *ahem* special (and hilarious) way.
This movie is incredibly hilarious and if you don't mind an F-word or two (or 30) it's definitely worth a watch. You won't regret it. Just be prepared to have your image of these sweet little boys destroyed :o)

Click to go to the site where you can buy the movie.

The above site is the only place Blood Drips is avaliable for buying. The price is $25 plus $5 Shipping and Handling. It's a 28 minute long VHS.

This movie is SOOO hilarious and worth every penny. I watched it five times in a row when I first got it and it never got old. I love this movie, if you haven't seen it yet you should definitely invest in a copy!
